“Refurb and eating”
Just back from a weekend at the White Hart . They have been busy refurbishing some of the rooms and I was lucky to get one of them. They are lovely and quirky, really nice. “Staff Lovely, Hotel Dire”
As all other reviewers have mentioned, the staff at this place cannot be faulted. They are lovely. However, the building is in desperate need of renovation, doors which don't fit into frames, cracked and peeling windowsills, tired carpets and moldy bathrooms. “Decent Rooms, good food.”
Stayed here recently while visiting family. Reasonable sized room with comfortable bed. Could do with a wee makeover but otherwise clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant area was very nice with welcoming staff and good value food. Would stay again when visiting.

“Old fashioned and tired”
I had a small double room to myself and the bed was very comfortable. There was a good breakfast choice and everything was self-service except the cooked breakfast.
