Another fantastic holiday at this hotel,our fourth visit. We upgraded to Star Prestige and it was worth it. The infinity pool and separate bar and snack area was fantastic. The staff here are amazing. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary during our stay so I emailed the reception and they arranged for a beautiful bouquet from a local florist to be in our room when we arrived as a surprise for my wife. I had mentioned the actual date of our anniversary but was amazed when they had remembered and dressed the room with rose petals and champagne and chocolates. We have also stayed in the five star next door but we prefer this hotel. I thoroughly recommend this hotel and we will be back soon

Second time here this year and still rate this hotel very highly. Staff really good and very helpful (Sabrina at reception is a star). Great food choices and the lunch time poolside restaurant is very good if you dont fancy the main buffet. Could fo with a few more premium drinks on the list but still quite good. Enjoyed sufficiently to book up for January again.

We booked last minute , star prestige double room as description said came with sunbeds on balcony , at reception we were asked did we want to upgrade to a suite , given keys to look at room .Our room had table and chairs on balcony but no sunbeds , and overlooked the kids climbing frame , given this was unacceptable we paid to upgrade to suite making this a very expensive holiday. Waited for jet 2 rep to discuss but didn’t bother showing up at advertised time !! Lots of sunbeds around pool at all times so needn’t had worried but still usual clients who grab their beds at stupid o’clock Good points , food excellent , drinks freely available and branded spirits in star prestige area , staff very helpful and work hard . Entertainment bit hit and miss and nothing really to do outside of hotel in the evenings Beach stunning clean and lovely walk in both directions . This part of furteventura is a naturist area so if offended by naked men and women walking along beach it’s not for you. BAD only thing that we hated was the smokers , and there were so many , to get to star prestige area you had to walk through clouds of cigarette smoke , sat on balcony person in adjoining room was smoking all the time . There is a smokers area outside dining room again to access bowling alley ( where they show the football ) you had to walk through smoke again . All said we had a nice pre Christmas break but probably wouldn’t visit area again as a bit quiet . Would be lovely if some hotels could be smoke free

We booked star prestige for our first visit to this hotel, having experienced star prestige previously in Lanzarote. No big deal but check in was at the main reception not at the star prestige check in desk. our room was big, lovely sea facing balcony but was incredibly tired looking, in need of some updating and TLC. The star prestige pool area and bar was excellent, plenty of sun beds, great snacks available and fabulous choice of drinks. The food in the main restaurant offered plenty of choice and general quality was good but the meat selection was very repetitive, pork, pork and more pork! The food being grilled was always hot but at times other dishes on the hot buffet were luke warm. Snack bar by main pools, great choice for lunch. Good for a relaxing week away from work, but I don’t think we would return, Iberostar Playa Blanca offers far superior rooms and quality dining.
