Nice and welcoming hotel in a neoclassical building from 1820 with very elegant Biedermeyer furniture. The rooms are comfortable and the service is excellent, the staff is polite, very helpful and sociable. In the two elegant Biedermeyer dining rooms you can enjoy an excellent breakfast accompanied by Mozart music. There is also a beautiful garden where you can relax in absolute tranquility and the location is good, near the town center.

The hotel is a fantastic experience due to the fabulous gentlemen who run it. They followed their dream and created a very warm and cosy hotel. The place is impeccable and so much fun. The hotel respects the privacy of their guests But if you want to share a late night drink they are there to tell you great stories of the area. The lake is beautiful and so quiet and it is only one hour from Berlin Center by train.

You're surrounded by history in this quiet, pastoral region of Germany, and the Hotel Schlossgarten is the perfect base for exploring the town as well as the lakes and forests nearby. Neustrelitz is a quick train ride or a couple hours by car from Berlin. It's worth an overnight to visit. The hotel is less than 10 minutes by foot from the train station, and the town center is equally accessible. Unlike a lot of hotels in western Europe adopting modern decor and amenities, this property embraces its rich heritage by showcasing antiques and art, especially from the 18th and 19th centuries, The reception area and dining rooms are a veritable history lesson. The rooms are modest and comfortable. The gardens are a wonderful place to reflect or read. The staff make you feel right at home. Breakfast has plenty of variety of cold meats, cheeses, and breads. An iron and ironing board are available in the laundry room near the entrance. Directions to local attractions are at hand.
