Quirky, delightful hotel convenient for all. Do NOT believe negative reviews. Staff exceptional, friendly and knowledgeable with nothing being too much trouble. “Central hotel in Shrewsbury good value”
Had a lovely stay in The Lion Hotel two nights very very old steeped in history. The room was big bathroom bright and cheerful ... lots fluffy towels. “Tired but good value”
We stayed for one Sunday night. This was probably a popular coaching house in its heyday, but sadly it is in desperate need of some TLC.
