I have just returned from orangers beach hotel and wasn't disappointed.. This was my third visit and could not fault it. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly and can't do enough for you. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The bar staff are very attentive as are the waiters in the restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment team have changed from last year, but were friendly and worked hard from morning to night. Marvellous people. Will return next year. Hopefully more English people there.

This is my second visit here the first was in 2015 with my best friend this time I went on my own. The hotel is still clean and well kept the staff are all friendly and helpful. The animation team were all very friendly and nearly all of them came to chat and make sure I was ok and to check if I needed anything every day. There was no pressure to join in the daily activities not like other places where they keep on at you to do aqua fit etc. There were still people working within the hotel that were there on my previous visit. The only down side was that maybe the food wasn’t as good as before still nice but not as good and varied which was a shame. Will definitely be going back.

“5 star in the past…. Not so sure now!”

This hotel was once 5 star - but, in our opinion, not any more. The design of the hotel is fabulous but the upkeep is not! This hotel was once 5 star - but, in our opinion, not any more. The design of the hotel is fabulous but the upkeep is not! When we were shown our apartment block, the ground floor entrance stank of cat urine for 3 days until it was properly cleaned. Each day the stairwells had piles of dirty glasses/crockery which had been cleared from rooms and was left there for 2/3 days. The lift worked sporadically. The toiletries provided are minuscule and not replaced daily - twice we had to request conditioner and towels were not replaced in our room two days out of seven, meaning we had to ring reception to request some. When we did so, we had to wait an hour for them to arrive. Like many others who have reviewed this hotel, both myself and my partner were ill for most of the week; much of the buffet food was warm when it should have been hot. We paid for a late check out room, but the receptionist we spoke to when sorting this out was begrudging and we were made to feel like we were causing her such an inconvenience. All other staff were lovely.

First review for a while - I'll make short and sweet. It is the second time we stayed at Les Orangers. The first time we gave it 4 out of 5. This time going for a 3 out of 5. Main reasons being:- We got the interconnecting room as booked - however there were issues with it. For example:- No WiFi in rooms - and hit and miss around the hitel Sockets in room not working Toilets in rooms not flushing properly / temperamental And the rooms itself were the furthest away from the main building/reception/activities. The room itself was behind the main kitchen area so smelt the cooking all day and night as well as next to the staff entrance. As naturally 'not complainers' we just got on with it! The hotel facilities are really good with hamaam available and free to use, a big heated indoor pool - and although never used laundry facilities, horse riding amongst other bits and pieces. The room itself was a bit tired and dated - but I've stayed in enough AI hotels to know it is difficult for them to keep up maintenance. Breakfast was good in the main dining room. Lunch service in the beach restaurant really good. Dinner in the main dining room - not so - I don't know maybe it was just me. Food service from waiters was hit and more miss - it becomes almost do it yourself! Would I recommend this hotel? - yes purely for the beach and facilities.
