Just got back 3rd December having spent a week here. The hotel and our room 404 was always clean. The resturant was always clean and plenty of variety of food. Drinks were help yourself at meal times. At night you were served quickly at the bar. Everyone works hard in every aspect of the hotel from Cleaners to the people on the front desk. This was our second time staying at Sandos Benidorm suites, and theres a-lot of positives as to why we come back this year,but this time we’ve left with a big negative unfortunately. Everything else was great the hotel, staff no complaints. It’s been so nice staying here but h there is one thing that happend towards the end of our stay. It said we had a cleaner named Laura for our stay. (Woman with Glasses is the one I’m writing about) Firstly, during our stay we had gone out for the day with a do not disturb sign on the door. However upon returning we discovered she ignored the sign and came in anyway while we wasn’t there( things were moved). Which was bit like okay then, the cleaner before her didn’t do that. Secondly, on the day of leaving it was 8am - me and my partner were half dressed just woken up and were getting ready to leave. And I hear the door unlock and see the handle slowly going down. I then make a noise saying to my partner somebody’s opening the door then it shuts again ( no cleaning sign on the door again + it’s quite early still) when we managed to quickly get dressed we quickly went down have some breakfast before catching the coach back. Afterwards we came back up to room to collect our suitcases/pack up any last bits before going. As we’re doing that she unlocks bursts in the door and starts shouting at us in Spanish! I apologise and say I don’t speak Spanish but we’re getting ready to leave, despite this shes continuously shouting at us and something about money, angrily. I was confused but if I understood what she was saying it was not nice. She was so rude and unprofessional I , she nearly made us miss our coach back as we were just trying to leave. it’s a shame,everything else we loved about our stay which is why we came back for the second year. The hotel and all other staff were very nice. But the rude cleaner who shouts at you although she has no right to, was not good. Just a shame as we’re wanting to come back next year with our daughter for her first holiday, as everything other than that has been great.

“Good hotel”

We were very, very happy with this hotel. Our favourite bar staff was Mateo. He was simply amazing. His positive attitude was great. He took care of us like nobody else. He always was helpful and funny. His knowledge of cocktails was stunning. Cocktails recommended by him were delicious and spot on to our taste. Each day Mateo welcomed us with massive smile and positiveness....no matter the time of a day. This hotel needs more people like him. We need more laughter and positivity in our lives so visit Sandos Benidorm Suites and check it yourself!! Good cocktails, great atmosphere, great time!

The staff, at all levels (from front desk, to housekeeping to dining hall service), were all exceptional. Friendly, helpful and engaging. A shout out to Dennis, one of the dining attendants; he was superb. The room was comfy, our mini bar was kept well stocked and the view from our balcony was breath taking. My only complaint was the food; I found it bland and not a lot of traditional Spanish food. It definitely catered to the British retirees that made up 80% (or more) of the guests in the hotel (we're Canadian and would have loved some more traditional food). The hotel was a nice walkable distance from the beach, old town, and the Benidorm Flea market. We had such an amazing holiday and coming back to our room after walking all day was a welcoming, warm, clean, comfy retreat. I would stay here again.
