“Nice room and well located”

We stayed overnight in Sydney. We were upgraded from a king to a studio room. The room was nice, the bed very comfortable and I liked the pillow size, not ridiculously oversized ones. It was well located to public transport (central station) and buses. There was a nice table next to the window and although staying on a Saturday night, I didn’t hear any noise. The room was nice and bright too and the ac was good. Would stay again. I always wonder who designs showers in hotels? The shower was not a high pressure one. Yet the bath mat and floor were soaked. It was one of those half a screen covers the shower and then the rest is open. Have designers not yet worked out that this does not work well?

I booked an Ultimo Queen room for an overnight stay as I had an early flight the next morning. The price, I paid, was very reasonable for the location. The reception staff member checking me in was friendly and I was given the key to room 134. The room was small, but adequate for overnight. It was very clean, had a comfortable bed, nice bathroom with fluffy towels, bathroom products and a hairdryer. It also had a window with a view of the street, bedside lamps on both sides of the bed. There was no wardrobe but a movable rack to hang clothes. This was not an issue for me as wardrobe space was not required. Good for 1/2 nights and I would definitely stay here again, if the price was competitive, when a good night's sleep was needed before an early flight.

“Anniversary trip”

The staff is always exceptional...always! Our room was upgraded so larger than we expected which was nice, but the 2nd evening & 3rd day of our trip the elevator was broken & moving luggage required assistance from the staff. They were great, but an elevator that worked would have been nicer. Also … more

The staff is always exceptional...always! Our room was upgraded so larger than we expected which was nice, but the 2nd evening & 3rd day of our trip the elevator was broken & moving luggage required assistance from the staff. They were great, but an elevator that worked would have been nicer. Also the air conditioning had been switched to heat or fan...so the room was mighty stuffy at night...yeah...hot in fact even with just the fan blowing. I'll probably give you another chance at some point...we've stayed here a few times and love the location & the exceptional people who work here...and the Chambers Cafe across the street is great for breakfast.
