I can't understand the last review, its beautiful here, the grounds are lovely and it's so peaceful. The complex has a lovely restaurant, two pools, a little shop and the Manager Theo, is always helpful. It is quiet here but it's within easy walking distance to the town and the Marina, both gorgeous, have lovely restaurants and very well priced in the town. The beach is lovely and if you want to explore, take the bus outside Etara 3 to Sunny Beach or Nessebar, only a couple of Lev and worth the visit. You could even get the boat over from the Marina and get a taxi back ( about 15 lev from Sunny Beach).

“Fantastic location”

Very pleasant hotel in a very good location adjacent to an open air museum of traditional Bulgarian houses. Unfortunately, only stayed one night and no time to visit. Food very good and service efficient.

Im a British apartment owner here. I cant understand the bad reviews given. We have had our apartment for seven years . Its not for people wanting a noisy full on holiday. Go to Sunny Beach for that , you wont get much sleep there however. Theo the Complex manager is very helpful and speaks good English. The gardens are an oasis compared to concrete land in Sunny Beach. The pools are cleaned regular and the shop is well equipped. We have had the odd tummy upset ( you get that on most foreign holidays) We took our then 4mth old son and 8 mth old Grandaughter and they were both fine. Our son is now four and never once had a virus . Its not sewage coming from the complex into the sea. It is in actual fact a storm drain from the forest hills behind. Not sure about travel agent bookings but home owner bookings you get immaculate apartments to stay in. Its not a holiday package place as probably too quiet for families and the distance to Sunny beach too far to walk. If you want tranquil its great.
