“Fantastic experience”
Fantastic experience with really helpful, friendly staff. The A’la Carte restaurants included as part of the half board/ full board are definitely worth a visit! Facilities are great, especially since you can also use the Miramar facilities and lots of great trips to go on straight from the hotel. … more

“Sunny,relaxing all round fantastic holiday.”
The hotel was beautiful, staff were lovely and very helpful, Funchal is a lovely place although it is a bit hilly,but above all a superb holiday. The cable car was a lovely experience, the views were absolutely beautiful,and the toboggan ride back down was hilarious,definitely worth a go.

“Very cosy and pretty hotel.”
Lovely hotel if a little dated. Room very comfortable and roomy, no air conditioning but fan above the bed quiet and effective. Lovely views over gardens and hills in the distance.. Very chilled, relaxing hotel. We appreciated that it wasn't a massive multi-story hotel. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Really enjoyed the a la carte restaurants at the linked Mira Mar and Grand. There are activities that we didn't know about before arrival, like yoga, which we joined in. … more
