We travelled just a short distance from Inverness for a celebrity wedding anniversary stay. We booked dinner, breakfast, executive room with garden view. We were not disappointed. Our room was spacious and clean. We noted a few areas that needed a wee refurb (torn curtain tie back, sink crack & bath panel : but nothing major). Would have been nice to have bathroom robes, face cloths. But there was very nice bubble bath products & bars of soap. Use of trouser press and table with 2 chairs beside the window. Meal was a set reduced menu as included which had plenty of choice for us. Breakfast was perfect, continental was self service, tasty fresh fruit, croissants, juice etc. Cooked is ordered at your table along with hot drink and toast:perfect! Our waitress was very efficient and observant. We will be back. Thank you.

I took my son to Scotland recently for his 19th birthday. Due to our flight getting canceled, we were late getting in. Our original accommodation would not accept us after 8 p.m. I scrambled at the last moment and booked this lovely hotel. However, my confirmation never went through. Yet, Sam and Lynn were wonderful welcoming us. We loved the historical atmosphere and the beauty. This was much better than if we had stayed at our original intended place. Thank you - and the breakfast was out of this world too! Thank you Natalia!

“Nice stay in Nairn at a reasonable price”

Excellent 3 night stay, our room rate included a 3 course evening meal which the first night was a little chaotic ( only seemed to be short staffed? ) but the 2nd and 3rd nights everything was perfect, breakfast was very good, all the staff were friendly and polite, hotel was clean and tidy, room clean, comfy bed and pillows, en-suite was clean but a little more attention to the toilet rim and a hair line crack in the sink stop me from giving a perfect review

We arrived having booked a courtside room , as it was guaranteed to be ground floor ( my husband has a disability). we arrived to find we were the lucky recipients of an upgrade ( i wont disclose the details here but it was nice :) :) such a nice surprise.) moving on from that, the staff I had talked to were all super friendly and not in the 'I'm being paid to be friendly' way they were genuinely nice and helpful. the only complaint i have , and its so trivial, is that the breakfast was a wee bitty tasteless, (the products bought for breakfast could have been better) , but the breakfast staff were lovely and friendly and that's not easy to find in hotels because nobody likes a breakfast shift ! It was a shame that there was a huge kerfuffle when a group tour booked in and took up half the entrance foyer but lets be honest that's part and parcel of many hotels in Scotland. and honestly this hotel handled it with very little disruption to other guests ( the luggage wasn't brought into the building lined up for porters..it was outside ) , that is true professionalism on behalf of the staff working there.
