“Recommended to stay here”

Considerately crafted rooms and warm staff made my stay at Poem incredibly comfortable. Conveniently located within easy walking distance to Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque but on a quiet side street to get away from the noise. Breakfast is generous and high quality to say the least!

Incredibly helpful staff and lovely homely hotel. So handy to Blue Mosque, restaurants and transport. Great views from our windows. Good Airconditioning and windows can be opened as a window or a door. Lovely cookies on arrival. Fantastic breakfasts a must. Good sized rooms.

Wonderful boutique hotel in the old quarter of Istanbul. Themed on writers, playwrights, cinematographers, Tin Tin etc. hall adorned with interesting pictures and each room associated with a person. Very clean and well maintained. Easy access to local restaurants within couple of minutes. Easy walk into centre and historic sights. Loved Tin Tin themed lounge. Best breakfast platter ever! Brilliant, healthy and plentiful. Staff friendly and attentive.

This was a very clean hotel with warm, welcoming attentive front desk staff. The hotel is on aside street just off a main road filled with resturants. Dissapointed that the hotel staff said they knew nothing of the restuarnts there and insisted they could only reccommend the resturant directly across the street.we were tired and hungry but had to spend over $100US for our meal there. We felt ripped off. Our room was clean and large. We loved the bathroom and its amenities, particularly the dental kit as my nephew couldn’t find his toothbrush nor toothpaste. We love that they gave us a small robe for my 11-year old nephew - it fitted him perfectly. Our room also had a large patio leith fruit trees! This was good. Bfast is a sight to behold here. It would help if they asked before laying everything on the table. I have allergies and so much had to be removed, which I felt was a waste. ( The same happened to people at the table behind us). The staff in this area don’t understand English well but you can certainly get by. Good was yummy. We were surprised at so many salads and veg served at b/fast. We stayed two nights then moved to a five star hotel which my nephew said was clearly better service but that he found hotel Poem staff more friendly , warm and that he felt more comfortable there. We had everything we needed right at our fingertips here. I would return.
